Lucknow: On the second day of Lucknow University Pre Convocation Sports Festival Week, a very exciting volleyball competition was organized between several teams among the university hostels at the historic Shivaji Ground of the university.
The general secretary of the Sports Council of Lucknow University said that more than 150 students participated and the students of Mahmudabad Hall, Homi Jahangir Bhabha Hall, Kautilya I and Kautilya II Hall, Subhash Hall and Habibullah Hall performed well.
The final match of the men’s volleyball team was played between Kautilya Hall and Subhash Hall, in which Mahmudabad Hall was declared the winner. On the other hand, volleyball competitions were held for girls, in which the foreign students of BA (NAP), Birbal Sahni Hall and the students of Kailash Hall competed. The final match was played between the girls of B A N A P and Kailash hostels, in which the girls of BA NEP were declared the winners.
